* Blue Folders: You will find a picture day order form in your child's folder today. We have picture day next Friday, October 4th, so please return your order form by Friday.
* Reading Bags: These are being sent home for the first time today! The kids are super excited about these. There are 2 books in each of their bags, and they are to read each book to 2 different people. Please return the bags on Monday. Once I get the leveled reading groups started (sometime in October), your child will have one book in the bag, along with a reading log. Please return the reading bag the following day. You can expect to receive this bag about twice per week.
* If you haven't done so already, please make sure to send in your field trip money. We have our first field trip on October 15th. Many have asked about being a volunteer for that field trip...You will be receiving an e-mail from one of our room parents regarding field trip volunteering. They will be handling all of this, so you can reply to them about being a volunteer driver.
* As always, continue to work with your child on letters/sounds/sight words at home. Keep that sight word list posted on your refrigerator and refer to it daily!
