* On Monday, January 23rd the PTO will be hosting a Family Fun Night at Airtime Trampoline and Game Park from 4-7pm. Admission is free for all Lakeside families. Hopefully you can join in on the fun!
* On Wednesday, January 25th, all Lakeside students will be encouraged to forego eating their snacks throughout the day so that they can experience what it feels like to be hungry, like all of the children around the world who are affected by child hunger. Again, this is not something that is required, but something that we will encourage.
* On Thursday, February 16th, we will be celebrating our 100th day of school! Each year I ask my students to make a shirt to wear to school that day that has 100 objects on it. If you google image this it will give you lots of ideas. I've seen kids draw 100 smiley faces with permanent marker, some kids have glued 100 googly eyes or cotton balls or stickers onto their shirt. (hot glue works best- fyi) Please keep it simple! And most importantly, have fun!
