Week Eight

* You've probably noticed that reading bags did not come home this week. Due to assessments that need to get done before conferences, I was not able to do reading groups this week. We'll start up again next week.

* Just a reminder about Halloween- our parade will begin at 2:00 with the party starting right after (around 2:20ish). Everyone is welcome to attend our parade/party as long as your are an approved volunteer. If you're unsure whether you're an approved volunteer, call the office and they'll be able to confirm this for you.

* If you haven't done so already, please fill out this quick survey prior to parent/teacher conferences.

* Want to help the U.S. Military satisfy their sweat tooth? Lakeside will be collecting Halloween candy starting Oct. 31st- Nov. 4th. All candy will be donated to Operation Gratitude in Michigan which sends care packages to the U.S. Military.
