Today all the kindergarteners at Lakeside had a mini-celebration for all of our growth and successes as readers! We paraded around Lakeside chanting "We love reading! We are readers!" with our favorite storybooks. All the other classes stepped out into the hallway to cheer us on! It was such a cute experience! We ended our celebration by sharing our favorite storybook with a student from one of the other kindergarten classes. =)
