Week Two

Here are my updates for this week:

* Blue folders are coming home today. There are a lot of important papers inside (esp. for those that are either the oldest at Lakeside or the only at Lakeside). You will also find picture order forms. Picture day is approaching quickly! It's on Friday, October 2nd. You will also find completed work from the week. You will find math journal pages. Some are completed, some are not. The ones that are blank are great practice pages to complete at home.

* We had a brief safety talk today, which was required for us to do. Two main points that were talked about:
- If there is ever a "bad person" or something unsafe (like a dog) in our school, then we will go to the bathroom and wait until it is safe again.
- If there is ever a "bad person" on the playground, they are to listen to the playground aides (wearing the yellow vests) on where to go and what to do.

* Parent Info night is on Monday from 5:00-6:00 in our classroom.

* Don't forget to send in your child's collage on Monday!
