- A science activity about using our sense of sight to see different attributes in objects (size,color,shape)
* There has been some confusion about the MLK book drive and the brown paper bag that came home this week. Please let me clarify this- The purpose of the book drive is for Lakeside students to donate gently used (or new) books to the kids at Godfrey Lee Elementary. They do NOT have to be bilingual books. Please send your donated books to school, we have a collection box right outside our classroom door. The brown paper bags are meant to collect money in so that Senora Buxton and Mrs. Day can purchase bilingual books for those children. It's been cute to hear the stories my kiddos have been sharing about what they've been doing at home to earn some money for their bag. Keep it up!
* Lakeside's FREE Family Fun Night is Friday, January 30th from 4-6:30 at Woodland Skating Rink. This fun, family event is FREE compliments of the Lakeside PTO!
