* Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Art Gala this past Monday! It's always so fun to see how excited everyone is to show their artwork to their families. I have displayed the artwork in our hallway and will send it home at the end of the month.
* We have finished our unit on non-fiction writing and will now begin persuasive writing. You will find all of your child's non-fiction pieces in their Friday folders. They did such an awesome job on these and not only learned how to be a researcher but also learned a lot about ocean animals!
* We will finish our unit on 3D shapes this week and will begin our unit on Measurement next Tuesday.
* Scholastic Book orders are due by Monday, April 25th. There are some great spring/summer book options to choose from.
* We are in our second week of Running Club and boy is everyone showing such dedication to this program! We have had every kindergartener running and most are averaging about a mile per recess which is very impressive! Keep watch in the Pride for announcements about the Fifth Third Junior Race coming up on May 11th as well as the LBW race on June 1st.
