Week Thirty-One

* We will be starting our camping unit on Monday. I will be setting up a campsite in our classroom and am looking for a kids sleeping bag that maybe you don't use anymore. If you have one, please e-mail me and let me know. Please don't just send one in because I only need one!

* Next Wednesday, May 4th is ACES Day, which stands for All Children Exercise Simultaneously. The Michigan Fitness Foundation would like every school to participate in some type of physical activity at 10:00 that day. Since we already have Running Club on Wednesdays, we are going to have ALL Lakeside students and staff participating. Make sure your child comes to school ready to be a runner (or walker) that day!

* On Tuesday, May 10th at 11:30, the Lakeside PTO will honor all of our countless volunteers and staff with a luncheon in the Staff Lounge.  Whether you helped at a classroom party, drove on a field trip, served on one of our many PTO committees, or volunteered in any capacity whatsoever, we would like to honor you!  Please grab a friend and join us for lunch to celebrate all of our volunteers!  As always, childcare will be provided.
