* With conferences just two weeks away, I have started assessments this week. That being said, reading bags won't be coming home on a regular basis until I am done with all of them.
* Your child's reading bag is coming home tonight and inside you will find an ocean book. We spent a lot of time finding sound chunks that will help us solve unknown words. Your child has highlighted those sound chunks with a crayon. Some children may not have finished finding them all, so if this is the case then they can finish it at home. Please return this book and the book bag whenever they're done reading it.
* Dress as your favorite book character is tomorrow! Please see last weeks post with more information about this special day at Lakeside.
* I still haven't received everyone's conference form. If you haven't returned that, please do so ASAP!
* Michigan Munchies will be every Wednesday and Friday and will be sold at lunch for $0.50.
* Don't forget to dress GREEN on Monday for St. Patrick's Day! We will be having a fun filled day of St. Patrick's Day activities!
* Those of you who signed up to bring cookies or water for the Art Gala, please send the waters at any time and the cookies on Tuesday morning.
